BRITISH CHAMPIONSHPS 2020

British Junior Championships - the Board has agreed that these should go ahead, subject to appropriate protective measures and any prevailing local or Government restrictions. In line with other sports this will be behind closed doors, i.e. no spectators. It appreciated that gyms may not be open in time for some Home Countries so in these cases separate selection competitions may be held. Any lifter wishing to be considered for international selection next year must compete in the British Championships or an approved selection competition unless dispensation has been requested and approved. It is also recognised that some lifters may not have had time to peak and their performance may be below their best. Therefore, totals from other recognised competitions will be considered for selection purposes.

British Masters Classic Championships - these have been replaced by a selection competition at the same venue by invitation of the Head Coach. Home nations will be running separate selection competitions.

Home Nations - These were to have been hosted in Wales, but have now been postponed to 2021.
