BRITISH UNIVERSITY CHAMPIONSHIPS 2017
A big thank you to everyone who made these championships the biggest and best we have run to date. We had over 300 lifters from more than 35 universities and a total of 23 hours of lifting over two very full days on two platforms. The standard of lifting was impressive and we look forward to being able to send top rate teams to the World Championships.

Marc Giles for MC ing Platform 1 and providing the platform crew and his equipment. Also Bryn Evans for the use of his PA system. Plus the great table staff.
Ian Finch for announcing on Platform 2 and his excellent table staff. Plus the Dean Bowring platform crew, who did a tremendous job.

British Powerlifting is the only UK powerlifting organisation that has a fully WADA compliant anti-doping programme, which is independently administered by the IPF. All of our anti-doping testing is carried out at our own expense. Elite GB lifters are selected by the IPF for inclusion in the Registered Testing Pool (RT) along with 144 lifters in the Testing Pool and National Testing Pool.
