With the change of the venue for the World Classic to Sweden the Board have decided that, providing there is no significant change in the pandemic situation, we should send teams. These championships will also include the Masters' Classic.
In accordance with UKAD protocols, we are pleased to announce that Dr Chris Gilbert has been appointed Anti-Doping Education Lead and will be responsible for coordinating our Anti-Doping Education Programme. ADEL is an online anti-doping education platform that offers interactive and informative education modules for everyone involved in sport. All Athletes and coaches are strongly encouraged to register for ADEL at adel.wada-ama.org/learn and complete as many modules as possible. We are in the process of transitioning the accreditation for our coaching courses to CIMSPA (Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity). In doing this we will be taking the opportunity to revamp and update course content and hopefully introduce some on-line elements. Charlie Marillier is taking the lead on this supported by Pete Sparks, Fred McKenzie and the CEO.
